Thank you for choosing to use League Rewind. Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our fantasy football app.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple’s private relay address if you choose to hide your email).
- Fantasy league data: To generate recaps and show scores, the app reads your league information — league names, team names, rosters, matchups, scores, transactions, and draft results — from the platforms you connect. Sleeper data is read using your Sleeper username via Sleeper’s public API. Yahoo data is read only after you grant read-only access through Yahoo’s sign-in (OAuth); we never see your Yahoo password.
- Usage data: We collect data about how you interact with and use the app to improve app functionality.
- Purchase information: Subscriptions and season passes are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your purchase status but never see your payment details.
3. Purpose of Data Collection
The information we collect is used to generate your league’s recaps, show live scores, personalize your experience, and improve the app.
4. Data Sharing
- Generative AI: To create recaps, we send your league data (such as team names, matchup results, and transactions) to Anthropic’s Claude, a generative AI service. This data is used to generate your content and is not used to train AI models.
- Cloud storage: Your personal information, user profile, and generated recaps are stored securely on cloud services provided by Google Firebase.
- Analytics: We use analytics services (including Firebase) to understand app usage and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
- No sale of data: We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Security
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app’s settings, which removes your personal information and saved recaps from our systems. You can also email us to request deletion of your data.
7. Children’s Privacy
League Rewind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
